S.O.S.- Maine will again be making available the Robert Foley
Community Service scholarship, open to all Wells seniors graduating from
high school this spring. The coastal property owners' group developed the
scholarship to honor Bob Foley for his service to the group at the end
of his term as President and to reward and encourage local students to
emulate his commitment to local community service. Seniors who have
demonstrated past service to the community and who are planning to perform
community service during their college careers are encouraged to apply.
Applications are open to graduating Wells residents who attend high schools
throughout the region.
The $1000 scholarship will be awarded by the S.O.S. Scholarship Committee
this spring. The deadline for applications is May 1st.
